Some dentists allow patients to pay a portion of the bill each month over a period of time whether there is a
formal policy in place or not. The dentist owns her practice and she can do whatever she wants.
Ask your dentist and see what she says.
If your dentist won't negotiate a payment plan, you can create your own by simply choosing to
pay late. As long as you are paying down your bill on a regular basis, many
dental offices won't bother you. Alternatively, many dentists participate with
third-party dental financing plans.
